Plaintiff Jose Casillas v. Defendant Landsberg Jeweler

Catherine Corfee successfully persuaded plaintiff’s law firm to dismiss an ADA web-site complaint with prejudice filed by the notorious disabled plaintiff, Jose Casillas. The defendant’s jewelry business did not have a physical location of its building in California, such that orders online by a California disabled plaintiff are not covered by the ADA. The ADA only protects the disabled against a “place of public accommodation.”
